Kathy Clarke recently joined Dan Lawrie Insurance Brokers Ltd., taking on the role of Account Manager, Transportation. With over 23 years experience as a Commercial Underwriter and seven years as a part owner of a transport company, she holds a wealth of knowledge, including the philosophies of various insurance companies. Kathy's vast knowledge enables her to find the best individual insurance solutions for her clients. Kathy is also a member of the Hamilton Transportation Club.

Having self-managed her fleet, which consisted of two owned trucks, three trailers, and four outside owner operators, Kathy has a solid understanding of the trials and tribulations of the daily tasks in this industry from dispatching to ordering equipment and determining freight rates to required documentation.

As Account Manager, Transportation, Kathy strives to alleviate these stresses and concerns from her clients with insights and passions for both the trucking business and the insurance industry. From the marketing of accounts to premium negotiations, and much more in-between, Kathy will ensure her clients receive the attention required to run a smooth and successful operation.
